Plan For Your Safety
It is never your job or responsibility to make the abuse end; only the abuser is responsible. But you can plan for your safety whether you decide to stay or leave.
A Safety Plan is a personalized practical plan to improve your safety while in an abusive relationship, preparing to leave, and/or after you have left the relationship.
Create your Individualize Plan here and/or call the Victim Services Helpline at (814) 944-3585. Your safety plan may include a Protection From Abuse Order and ways to Stay Safe While Using Technology and the Internet.

Anyone can find help at Family Services. We know that anyone, including men, women, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and children can experience abuse, violence, and crime. We welcome everyone without regard to race, religion, color, age, gender, gender expression, sexual orientation, disability, socio-economic status, or language spoken.
