How Can I Help?
Every day is a new adventure waiting to be found.
Not all youth are seeking shelter. The Teen Center is for young people just trying to find a place to spend a few hours. Teens drop in after school, get help with their homework, stay for dinner, and participate in discussions dealing with issues pertaining to their age group.
At times, these young people are looking for someone to talk to or the opportunity to meet with other teens in a safe environment. The Teen Center has TVs, board games, food, monthly groups, educational presentations, and other activities great for building and maintaining relationships with peers.
Drop-In Services include:
- Homework help
- Supportive counseling
- Crisis intervention
- Food & snacks
- Watch TV, play videogames
- Boardgames
- Life skills education
- Information and referral
The Drop-In Center is a judgment-free zone where youth can find comfort, stability, and the resources to take their next steps forward.
