How Can I Help?
Educational Presentations:
At the Teen Center, we believe in empowering youth through programs and educational opportunities that inspire growth and build essential skills. The Teen Center collaborates with many other youth serving agencies, to offer educational presentations. Presentation topics include:
- Healthy Relationships
- Healthy Eating
- Healthy Communication Skills
- Internet Safety
- Human Trafficking
Groups:
The Teen Center also hosts a monthly LGBTQ Teen Group. The LGBTQ Teen Group is a safe, inclusive space where LGBTQ+ youth can connect, share experiences, and find support. Led by advocates from the Victim Services Program, this group offers a welcoming environment to explore identity, discuss challenges, and celebrate individuality. Here, teens can build friendships, find acceptance, and gain resources to help navigate life’s unique challenges with confidence and pride. For group information call the Family Services Main Office at 814-944-3583.
