Child Advocacy Center Coordinator

The Child Advocacy Center (CAC) Coordinator will facilitate the successful functioning and daily operation of the CAC. They are also responsible for coordinating the Multidisciplinary Investigative Team’s (MDIT) use of the CAC for forensic interviews and medical exams. The goal of the work is to maximize team effectiveness among interagency partners who engage in joint investigations of child abuse cases as well as to foster an environment that is trauma-informed for child victims in accordance with the standards set forth by the National Children’s Alliance. The successful candidate will also serve as backup forensic interviewer when needed and maintain up to date training and peer review requirements as set forth in the NCA accreditation standards.

A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, nursing or other related field is required with a minimum of two (2) years relevant professional experience (preferred), OR relevant and appropriate educational credentials plus a minimum of five (5) years relevant professional experience.

Position wage beginning at $20.00 per hour. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Benefits include health insurance, vacation, sick leave, 401(k), Life/LTD/AD&D.
